Generic Transfer for Similitude Spinor Groups

In a recent joint work with F. Shahidi, we have proved Langlands Functoriality for generic automorphic representations on general spinor groups. These are the first instances of functorial transfers on general linear groups that are not self-dual and prove, in particular, the long-awaited (generic) transfer from the group GSp(4) to GL(4). I will report on what refinements and improvements to this result we are working on as well as some applications in Number Theory and Representation Theory.
