Filtered (phi, N)-modules and modules over the Robba ring
by
Laurent Berger
Harvard University

The goal of this talk is to explain a new proof of Colmez-Fontaine's "weakly admissible implies admissible" theorem. I will show how to attach a (phi,Gamma)-module over the Robba ring to a filtered (phi,N)-module and give some properties of this construction, which can be thought of as an inverse of the functor which attaches a p-adic differential equation to a p-adic de Rham representation.
