We describe the skeleton of the lattice of all structurally trivial semigroup varieties. The structure of this lattice looks somewhat like an inverted pyramid. Our result unifies several known results and provides a framework for further research. The proof makes use of an interesting family of injective endomorphisms on the lattice of all semigroup varieties.
