The paper continues the construction of the discrete-time counterpart of the theory of M.G.Krein on \lambda-zones of stability for linear periodic Hamiltonian systems. After the obtaining of simplified criteria for estimating the central zone and of the discrete counterpart of the criterion of A.M.Liapunov the analysis continues with the analysis of the discrete Hill equation and of discrete parametric resonance. It will be shown again that not all results and theorems valid in the continuous time case may be rediscovered mutatis-mutandis in the discrete time case
