Difference Equations and Rao- Hamming Bound

This note studies the patterns of the already known solutions of the equation obtained from the well-known Rao-Hamming. Sphere packing bound with equality. To be precise, we explore the difference equations, that the solutions satisfy. The lengths n(i) and number of information digits k(i) of the code are also shown to be linearly independent solutions of a second order linear non-homogeneous difference equation.
