Modified Product Type Estimators For Mean In Skewed Populations

Goyal (1983) and Goyal et. al (2002) observed that situations do exit that product estimator is more efficient than the regression estimator. In this paper, we therefore propose modified product estimators for population in skewed population and their properties studied. The efficiency of the proposed estimators have been examined relative to their competitors.
