Some properties of linearly ordered topological spaces

A (possibly over-optimistic) project is to characterize linearly ordered topological spaces with purely topological properties including orthocompactness and monotone normality. Among other things, an example shows that monotone normality does not imply orthocompactness (that the reverse implication does not hold either is obvious).
