Fiber of closed mappings and closed sequence-covering mappings

In this talk, we characterize closed \sigma-compact images of metric spaces as Fréchet, weakly quasi-first-countable and \aleph-spaces. It is also proved that g-metrizable spaces and spaces with a point-countable base are preserved by closed sequence-covering mappings.
