Canonicity, duality, and correspondence
by
Mai Gehrke
New Mexico State University

In this talk we introduce canonical extensions of lattice ordered algebras and show how these relate to topological duality. Applying a recent generalization of Sahlqvist theory from modal logic, we show how canonicity and correspondence can be used to derive duality results for variaties of distributive lattice ordered algebras.
