Dually residuated lattice ordered monoids (DRl-monoids, for short) can be taken as a generalization of lattice ordered groups (l-groups) including also some algebras strongly related to fuzzy logic. For instance, pseudo MV-algebras/GMV-algebras (i.e. a non-commutative extension of MV-algebras) can be regarded as a particular kind of DRl-monoids. The concept of an ideal in a DRl-monoid is introduced and the lattice of ideals is studied.
