Choice Principles in Topology and Elementary Analysis

For a variety of basic results "R" in topology and elementary analysis the following question is answered: "Which choice-principle has to be added to ZF (i.e., Zermelo- Fraenkel set theory without the axiom of choice) in order that the result "R" holds ?"
