The Urysohn identity for closed subsets of some nonmetrizable manifolds

Let Y be a closed subspace of M×L where M is a compact manifold and L is the long line. Assuming Martin's axiom and the negation of continuum hypothesis, we prove that ind Y = dim Y = Ind Y.
