The hereditarily metalindelöf property of k-spaces with \sigma-HCP closed k-networks

In this paper, we prove that a regular k-space with a \sigma-HCP k-network is a hereditarily metalindelöf space. Thus, the question that appeared in papers by C. Liu and Y. Tanaka is answered.
