On arcwise accessibility in hyperspaces

The purpose of this paper is to show that in the results of
Section 4 of a paper by J. Grispolakis and E. Tymchatyn
[Fund. Math. 110 (1980) 117-130],
concerning arcwise accessibility of singletons from C2(X) \C(X) for a continuum X, we can replace
C2(X) by Cn(X) for any n > 2. We also present
more results about arcwise accessibility in these hyperspaces.
