Janusz J. Charatonik
Various kinds of nonseparating subcontinua of a given
continuum, as end continua, extremal, terminal, absolutely terminal
continua, and several related concepts are studied in the paper. A special
attention is paid to their mapping properties with respect to a variety
of classes of mappings: open, monotone, atomic, confluent, and many other
applicable ones.
Keywords: confluent, continuum, end, mapping, monotone, open, terminal
