We continue the investigation of determining the completions and completion remainders of various metrizable spaces. We introduce the study of spaces that are the differences of two completely metrizable spaces and of spaces that are rim-complete: possessing bases whose elements have complete boundaries. These notions are used to characterize the completion remainders of the irrationals.
